BellyBuster stores ALL your personal data — food logs, weight history, settings and PIN in your browser's local storage on this device only.
Clearing your browser cookies, cache, or site data will permanently and irreversibly delete all of your BellyBuster data. There is no cloud backup. There is no recovery.
Back up regularly using Settings → Export data. Keep the downloaded JSON file somewhere safe. Without a backup, your data cannot be recovered if it is lost.
BellyBuster is your personal calorie and weight tracker. Everything you log stays on your device — we never see your data.
BellyBuster works like an app when added to your home screen — no app store needed!
On iPhone / iPad (Safari): Tap the Share button (the box with an arrow) at the bottom of Safari, then tap Add to Home Screen. Give it a name and tap Add. The BellyBuster icon will appear on your home screen.
On Android (Chrome): Tap the three-dot menu in the top right, then tap Add to Home screen or Install app. Tap Add. The app icon will appear on your home screen like any other app.
On Android (Firefox): Tap the three-dot menu, tap Install or Add to Home screen.
Once installed, BellyBuster opens full-screen without browser controls, just like a native app.
Your daily overview. See how many calories you've eaten vs your target, your macros, water intake, current streak and BMI at a glance. The weekly summary card shows your average performance for the week.
Tap Log Food and use the date arrows to navigate days. Tap the date itself to open a calendar picker — days with food entries are highlighted with an orange dot. Each day is split into Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Snacks.
Manual: Type the food name, weight and calories. You can also enter protein, carbs and fat for macro tracking.
Edit an entry: Tap any food item in the list, or tap the pencil icon, to edit its values. Tap the ✕ to delete it.
Scan: Point your camera at a product barcode. BellyBuster checks its shared database first — if found, confirm the serving size. If not, it checks Open Food Facts. If still nothing, fill in the details manually and save to the shared database so everyone benefits.
Search: Type a food description to search both the shared database and Open Food Facts.
Saved: Foods you've starred as favourites appear here for one-tap re-logging.
Log your weight each day. Over time you'll see a trend chart showing your progress towards your target weight.
See your calorie history over 14 days, today's macro breakdown as a pie chart, and key statistics like your average daily intake, total deficit/surplus and weekly trends.
Tap + and − on the water card on the Dashboard to log glasses of water consumed today.
Log at least one food item every day to keep your streak alive. Can you go 30 days?
Your daily calorie target is calculated from your age, sex, height, weight and activity level using the Mifflin-St Jeor formula. To lose ~0.5kg/week, BellyBuster sets your target 500 kcal below your maintenance level. Update your profile in Settings as your weight changes.
Go to Settings → Export data to download a JSON file with all your logs, weight history and settings. Use Import data to restore — this replaces all current data. Keep backups in a safe place such as your cloud storage or email.
Your 4-digit PIN protects the app on shared devices. Change it anytime in Settings → Security. If you forget your PIN you will need to clear your browser's site data — this will erase all your BellyBuster data, so keep a backup.
Tap the moon/sun icon in the top-right corner to toggle between dark and light themes.
